Purpose
Function to determine the sign of a numeric value

SIGN(<expN>)

Description
The SIGN() function is used to determine the sign of a numeric value. The SIGN() function will return the following values:

| Positive | 1 |
| Negative | -1 |
| Zero | 0 |
