Purpose

Description

The LOG() function returns the natural logarithm of the given numeric expression <expN>. The SET DECIMALS command determines the number of decimal places returned. By default, SET DECIMALS is set to 2.


Example

set decimals to 5
? log(2.71828)
   1.00000
? type("log(2.71828)")
N
